Tuesday : went to see a doctor ... and oh mi God... I got food poisoning. (I think I lost a few pounds after all those going back and forth to the bathroom. Ugh... vomitting ... shitting *'xcuse my "too-elaborate-explanation"*)
Wednesday : went to work .... felt drowsy the whole day
Thursday : Tepar !!!! But still make it to the mall *again !?!* hehehe... My friend invited me to a fashion show in shangri-la this weekend. I seriously dunno what to wear. Never been to such occassion before .. too girlie for moi.
Monday, January 19, 2004 Jakarta people and "courtesy"
*sigh* .... I don't know whether it is the modernity that has changed everything or just simply the morality of the people ... but I've witnessed and experienced way too many situations where Jakarta people just don't give a shit about their surroundings anymore. No more smiles live in this city ... let alone courtesy.
I was having lunch with my colleagues today in BEJ. Sebenernya two of my colleagues needed to withdraw some money dari ATM BCA dan yang paling deket lokasinya di BEJ. So ya sutralah kita kesitu. Ada lippo, niaga, dan BCA. Pas lagi nunggu temen gue ... gue iseng aja buka account di lippobank. Mainly sih because gue mau pake ATMnya to pay my bills. Orangnya sih bilang gak akan lama dan emang beneran gak lama untuk paperworknya. Well okay... good deal lah ... at least gue bisa back to my office ASAP. Pas udah kelar filling in the paperwork gue assumenya orang counternya akan masukin duit gue tanpa gue musti ngantri soalnya waktu itu pas adek gue buka di lippo yang processnya kayak gitu. Eh sumpah loh... orangnya males banget. She gave me ten thousand reasons so she won't have to move her ass from her seat. Well ya udahlah... I don't have all the time in the world to reasoned with her so akhirnya gue ngantri. Udah mana panjang pula. Pas udah mau giliran gue... ada mas2 nyelak dengan enaknya. Of course gue gak appreciate donk dan yang nyebelinnya pula... pake dilayanin! I tried to be nice lah gue bilang. "mba tolong yah .. saya ada meeting jam 1.30 dan sekarang udah mepet waktunya. Lagipula saya kan duluan." Tiba2 tuh orang jadi jutek... lowh ... bingung donk gue. Salah gue apa coba. Dia juga gue kasih taunya baik2. Dia langsung jutek dan gayanya kasar banget. Wow... gila ... I'm a new customer .. HELLO!!!! Is that how you treat people who u'd rip off with those non sense fees and that money actually pay ur fucking salary ??? Shit man... I just couldn't hold myself any longer. When she's done... * 3... 2... 1... * I screamed, "THANK YOU !?! LAIN KALI YANG SOPAN YAH!" and I just walked away. What kinda service is that? Kalo itu WC umum gue mungkin cool kali yah ... ini nih BANK. Yang bikin gue kesel nih cewek masih trainee tapi kurang ajar. Gila... who da hell do u think u are bitch ?
